A private household calendar display for a CrowPanel 5.79-inch e-paper screen.

calendar-app reads calendars that household members authorize through Google and displays upcoming events on the household device. It requests read-only calendar access and does not create, edit, or delete events. The app is for personal use by the owner and people they know; it is not a public calendar service.

Information accessed and purpose

The app uses Google Calendar read-only access to retrieve event titles, start and end times, all-day status, and cancellation status from configured calendars. It uses this information solely to present the household schedule on the e-paper display.

Storage and visibility

Calendar events are held in the device's working memory and remain visible on the physical display. Access credentials are stored on the device and in the owner's local setup files. Diagnostic output and local backups may also be retained on the owner's computer. Household members and people who can see or access the device may see the schedule.

This informational website does not connect to Google Calendar or receive calendar events or Google account credentials.

Sharing and use

The app communicates directly with Google to obtain authorized calendar information. It does not sell calendar information, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. Its use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access and deletion

You can revoke the app's access through your Google Account's third-party connections settings. To remove local copies, the owner can clear the device display, erase its saved configuration, and remove setup files, diagnostic records, and backups from their computer. Revocation alone does not erase an already displayed schedule or local copies.
